web project

Image
i did mess up a few times on the css but after a while i got a hang of it and it was very easy and a lot of fun making my own website. one question i have it how would you make a website with lots of links and maybe moving things on the website.

all photoshop projects

on the butterfly and the school with the raven we mostly used the mask tool and lasso to cut out parts we didn't want to see.we also made the pictures fade in the compass one and the school with the raven. for the northwest project we used the gradient to make the mask and make it look cool. the differences i see are its a lot easier to use illustrator then photo shop to me because photo shop if you mess up you can't do undo you have to step back and there is only so many times you can do that. photoshop is also harder to import pictures to and place them. but graphic designers have to use both of them because sometimes you have to make a logo but also use a picture and have to photoshop something out.

my logo

What is the scope of the project? the scope was to make my two first initials flow together so i combined the two letter together. what was the process? pre-production- thinking of how i could make my initials flow together idea/concept- make my letter fit tooter like puzzle pieces. storyboard- i started out with the letter of A, P and H and tried to make them fit together to make one picture. but that didn't work so i just picked two ad tried to do the same thing. what did you learn slog the way? i learned how to make one letter out of another one and how to make one color fade into white what would you do differently? next time i would draw less complicated ideas and try them tons of different ways to see which one i like the most what would you do the same? i would still draw as many different logos as before and i would also then when in illustrator play around with my logo more than i did this time. what will you draw from this experience to enhance your next p...

Logo Color Use

The color orange is vibrant,  flamboyant and it stimulates. This is accurate for soundcloud because when i listen to soundcloud I become more focused on my work when I listen to the music on there. Soundcloud represents vibrant and flamboyant because when the music I like comes on I fell like I can express myself though the music. I just recently got soundcloud and now it's all I listen to. Soundcolud is an app that you can play music for free and you don't even have to download or buy the music! I've tried some of the other apps like this and sometimes it's limited to how many skips or songs you can play each day. like pandora and 8tracks they are good but they limit you and i just want to listen to all the songs i want to.

This video was by far the most stressful to make. Mostly because this is our final video and it has to be perfect. Then there was the problem with finding the questions and getting the storyboard done.   Next time I wouldn’t pick a group of people that I’m friends with just because we could never stop laughing long enough to film. This collaboration was different than the other because I was with my friends and had to do everything myself. We all had to make our own videos so each one of us were freaking out trying to get our shots done. Throughout these past few weeks have been the most fun l have had at school since ever! I really don’t want to leave and go to another strand of E-comm. I love making these videos and working with everyone and making new friends! I can’t wait until next year when we get to pick the strand we want to go into.

What did you learn? I learned how to use the JKL keys and the blade tools. I also learned to use the sift Z to highlight everything on the time line so there isn’t any black space at the end of the video. What will you apply to your next project? I will apply my new knowledge of using the blade tool, JKL, shift Z and command C/V/Z. I will also use my new team working skills to make the next project work well. How was collaboration different in this project from the last two projects? This was different from the last two because with this group we bounced ideas off of each other and worked really well together. We all filmed and put ideas into the video so it would turn out like a great video. How could you improve collaboration in your next project? In the next project I will work hard with my group and put more ideas together to make a great video.

12 shot sequence

What did you learn? I learned that filming with more than two people could be harder than you might think. You will also have to communicate with your partners to make sure they understand what you are going to do. You cannot just star filming without telling both of your partners what you are doing. You also have to compromise with them if you want to do the filming but someone else does too try and work it out. For example, one person can storyboard and one can film but the person that storyboards can also help with filming. What will you apply to your next project? I will apply how to edit with the arrows and making it look perfect so it looks like one action but moving the camera. How did this apply to your project/groups? I will apply my new skills on how to work together to make the video presentable and how to compromise with my group members.

6 shot squence

1.      What are the 6 shots in the 6 Shot Sequence? Give a brief description of each. Extreme close up (xcu)-Is a close up of only one thing for example hands drawing, typing or writing. Close up (cu)- A close up of a face showing an expression of with the person is doing. Over the shoulder (ots)- You only see the back of the person’s head, the shoulder and what they are working on. It’s a view from their point of view. Medium shot (ms)- you see from the hips up only. No legs or background yet. Wide shot (ws)- you see the persons whole body but not the background. Extreme wide shot (xws)-now you get to see all of the person and the background to show where they are and what they are doing. 2.      What did you learn? I learned how to work a flip camera and set it up. I also learned how to shoot a scene and all of the different shots I had to do to make it look good. 3.      What will you apply to your ne...

My Personality Type

Image
My personality is ISFJ which stands for Intovert, Sensing, Feeling and Judging. What this means is that I am a quiet person but am friendly, responsible and conscientious. I remember the small details about people and am concerned about others feelings. My celebrity that i am most like is Mother Teresa. Introverts keep mostly to themselves and are not very outgoing. One of the pictures I took says that people who prefer sensing tend to pay great attention to detail. The F of my personality is feeling and I rely on feelings intend of thinking and knowing about something. Judging are people who like structure and a flexible. This is most like me because i do rely on feelings and like structure when i am doing a project. I don't like to just do something spontaneous. I am not outgoing at all so introvert is exactly what I am. I found nothing really that doesn't describe me. This did help me understand who i am and who i can work better with and who i cannot work with. i will b...

making this video was new for me, i usually use iMovie but FCPX was a good experience. In final cut pro i learned how to edit videos together and put music over the sound so it makes it look professional. I picked 5 seconds of summer because I found out about them at my favorite bands concert. They are such huge dorks but i love them to death. They are so special to me I can't even describe it. I've gotten to know them over this pasted year and they have become a hung part of my life. I feel like they are my best friends even if i haven't ever met them.
