6 shot squence
1. What are the 6 shots in the 6 Shot Sequence? Give a brief description of each.
Extreme close up (xcu)-Is a close up of only one thing for example hands drawing, typing or writing.
Close up (cu)- A close up of a face showing an expression of with the person is doing.
Over the shoulder (ots)- You only see the back of the person’s head, the shoulder and what they are working on. It’s a view from their point of view.
Medium shot (ms)- you see from the hips up only. No legs or background yet.
Wide shot (ws)- you see the persons whole body but not the background.
Extreme wide shot (xws)-now you get to see all of the person and the background to show where they are and what they are doing.
2. What did you learn?
I learned how to work a flip camera and set it up. I also learned how to shoot a scene and all of the different shots I had to do to make it look good.
3. What will you apply to your next project?
I will apply all 6 of the shots and try and present them so they look good. I will also take more than one shot of at least all of them to make sure I like what they look like.
